There is definitely no shortage of bars and restaurants in Koh Samet. Barbeque stands pop up along the Diamond beach during the day and is replaced by ice-cream stands during the night. There are also a few Thai eateries in town and the diner is sure to get his or her money’s worth as the food is affordable and very authentic. Bars are aplenty and with each outlet, it offers their signature martini and beer concoction; diners and beachgoers will be spoilt for choice!
Travelling to Koh Samet by foot or by public transportation is time-consuming and may be tiring. It is also certain that you may have to walk quite a distance to your destination! Hiring a car is a much better option as it allows you to travel to your destination or attraction of choice in a much quicker and comfortable manner.
